Where did it go: Over Tyndall Air Force Base, Florida — An E-9A Widget flies through the sky to relay target telemetry during Combat Archer missions here April 21. The E-9A is assigned to the 82nd Aerial Targets Squadron. This E-9A is one of only two aircraft in the Air Force inventory and is used as an airborne platform and telemetry relay aircraft providing ocean surface surveillance and target telemetry of missiles fired for over the horizon profiles on the Gulf Ranges.

TYNDALL AIR FORCE BASE, Fla. -- The first operational F/A-22 Raptor flies over the base on its delivery flight. Tyndall is home of the world's first F/A-22 squadron. Date 26 September 2003

Tyndall Air Force Base, Florida, a T-33 Shooting Star aircraft from the 95th Fighter Interceptor Training Squadron (95th FITS) flies westward, its wings highlighted and fuselage silhouetted by the rays of the setting sun. The 95th FITS, which is the last active T-33 squadron, will phase out the aircraft at the end of Fiscal Year 1988.
