Didn'r Mr. Fagen's P-51D display at AirVenture include a live gunnery test target peppered with .50 caliber goodness? Does anyone know if they happened to video that ultra rare event?

They had a video playing next to the Mustang showing the event. Not sure if it's available online anywhere but it sure looked cool.

Location: I was a young troubadour when I rode in on a song, and I'll be an old troubadour when I'm gone.
A couple guys on Ron's team had the video on their phones, and I watched it. Very, very cool.
The neatest part is when the guns go silent, then a moment later you begin to hear the tinkling of the brass hitting the ground beneath the wing. :D

Hopefully video will show up online sometime. :supz:

I asked during my visit to Warhawks LLC. Apparently the video footage is being used in a documentary about "Twilight Tear"

What a beautiful Mustang she is.
