I stopped by the Peach State Aerodrome this evening based upon a rumor that there was a museum there. I followed my GPS and ended up in a parking lot where as soon as I exited my car, had quite the friendly welcoming comittie show up:

She purred and purred and followed me throug the parking lot where I stumbled upon two gentleman constructing a sign. One of them asked if they could help me and explained that I was there to see the museum. Sure enough, they let me in and here is a sample of what was on display:

Attached to the museum (or I should say the museum is attached to) is the Barnstormers Grill. They have a parking lot for aircraft!! This evening, there was a pair of Cub's doing take-offs and landings.

On my way out of the museum, I thanked the two gentleman who guided me to the enterance. They introduced themselves as Rich and Harold. We got talking and I was invited by Harold to visit his friends hangar within the flying comunity around the field. Inside was a Stearman, Cub, and Reliant. It was a fantastic way to spend the evening.

Every Saturday, they have a nice flyin attracting many aircraft (so I'm told). On August 27th from 11-4pm, they are having their 4th? annual event featuring Biplane Rides, Vintage cars, Vintage Airplanes, $1000 raffel and many other family oriented activities.
