We are working steadily preparing the C-97 for flight and have recently run across an obstacle. We had a seal blow in the nosegear oleo and do not have the proper manual to fix it.

We are in need of TO 4S1-6-4
This is for the nosegear oleo and is supposed to have a parts breakdown of the strut.

Can anyone out there help?

Thanks.

No, don't think so.

I've got it solved now anyhow.. Turns out, the parts manual we had that referenced that manual was our oldest. I looked it up in a newer manual and it appears that the manual in question was superseded by one I have been able to purchase from Essco.

Now, once it comes, I'll need to find the seal...

BTW: for those of you following, we have finally sourced the bearings necessary to reattach our flight controls. So progress is being made on the -97. Slowly but surely, items are being taken care of. Wont be long now.. (long IS a relative term)
