Thank yall for the kind words about my upgrade to B-29 FE and various other things over the last several months. I owe it all to Gary Austin, Dave Miller and John Schauer, among a whole list of people who have been so good to me over the years. It is nothing short of a dream come true for me. I sent that picture of Gary's log book to Jack because I knew he would make sure the people who would appreciate it would see it.

I have recieved numerous emails, phone calls, facebook messages and even a few personal appearances from folks on this board wanting to know how I am. Now that I've actually logged in I see that I've acquired a lot of PMs also! I've even seen there was a thread asking where I was from my buddy Tulio. At lunch today I recieved another email from a friend so I figured I'd speak up just in case there are others wondering about me.

All is well with me and mine. I'm not mad at anybody or nothing else, I just havent been around wix because its just not what it used to be. Plus, I just don't have the free time I've had in the past and I've got a lot of things on my plate now. Quite honestly I didn't realize how long it had been since I'd logged in. My interest in warbirds is still what it always was and I'll try to check in a little more often in the future.

In the meantime, I'm still bringing a C-17 to a lot of airshows, doing a few Cargo Heritage Flights and messing with old airplanes as often as I can. Unfortunately my schedule doesn't allow me to take FIFI to any of the stops on this current tour but I certainly wish I could have gone AWOL and went with her!

Well, if you're not coming to Oshkosh with FIFI hopefully i'll run across you at Abbotsford with the C-17.

Nice to see you post again Brad, and while appreciating you may have notes from the CAF and USAF excusing full participation, it'll be good to see you swing by when you can. You're right, WIX hasn't been the same, because you've not been here.

Congrats again on the B-29 FE job.

By the way, any better at pouring tea yet?

Congrats indeed, quite an achievement!

Perhaps you could do your part to help make WIX a better place by authoring some FE reports on FIFI, eh? EH?

Congrats on the FE slot Brad! Maybe we'll see you in 2012 with FIFI or the C-17 in Wendover! (I hope)
