What: 6th Annual AirVenture WIX Gathering & BBQ/Cookout
When: 5:30pm, Thursday, July 28
Where: 1919 W. Waukau Ave, Oshkosh, WI 54902
**** Please RSVP to zbaughman@eaa.org by Sunday, July 24 (for food count, although we won't turn you away if you just show up)

Details:
My wife Jenn and I will be hosting the 6th Annual WIX Gathering BBQ/Cookout at our place during AirVenture. We'll supply all kinds of food and beverage - the usual pulled pork, chicken, deviled eggs for Bill, potato salad, pasta salad, ice cream, etc., but anyone who wants to bring something extra (drinks or food) is more than welcome.

The house is located at 1919 W. Waukau Ave, which is at the southeast corner of Poberezny Rd and Waukau Ave, right on the edge of the EAA campground and within close walking distance of the Museum. Waukau Ave leads straight down to the FAA control tower. The "Welcome WIXers" P-47 banner will be out in the front yard, so you should be able to find the house fairly easily.

Anyone and everyone is welcome to come, just try to let me know ahead of time so we can make sure to prepare enough food. Our boys will be here this time (6 and 9), so bring your kids too if you want.

I'm on a diet. Will there be anything for me to eat? Okay, fine. I'll save it as one of my few nights to splurge

I wish I could join you guys, but it's a long way to Oshkosh if you want to rock and roll. I mean, it's a long way for me to travel.

You can ride the Vespa, I'll ride my GL1000. If we're lucky, we'll make it out to the SAC Museum and back!
