Mudge ~ they turn on the special airfield "auto level" feature for Airshows ......

Otherwise the entire crowd would end up in an untidy heap at the M11 motorway or the "Tank Bank"

Many years ago while working at Fighter Imports, located at POF, I had many inquiries into the Flying Wing parked against the fence.
The FW was being restored at another location and the museum's P-51 Spam Can was being restored at POF.
The wing was the wing for Spam Can but there were several who wouldn't accept that and insited it was the Northrup FW.

I'm reminded of the story of the "know it all" who was at an airshow where FIFI was in attendance. His girlfriend asked him what type of airplane it was and he replied, "That's an F1F1".

As long as the field leveler works. Forecast is for rain, both Sat. & Sun. though. Bummer.

Mudge the disappointed :(

ps...Fred...I'll get in touch.
