Minot Airport, where the museum is located, is 160 feet higher than the river. Minot is located in a valley formed by the river. The airport is on the plains above the town. I spent 3 years stationed at Minot AFB from 1963 to 1966.

thanks for the info man, I have never been there, just had a flash back to Galveston. would hate to see any of their collection mucked up by water :drink3:
