Spoke with Bill Greenwood last night. He says they are about to re-skin the Spitfire TE308!

No news yet on when it will be back up in the air...

QG Aviation started reinstalling the wing skins of Bill's plane today. Don't know how long it will take. It's not the whole plane, just the wings. The fuselage doesn't need repair.

Thanks to all the people that asked about the plane when we were at Oshkosh. Bill would love to have it back flying too.

Many thanks for the update, Becky.

It was good to see both of you again at Zack's picnic. You are both such gracious people, and I can only hope for quick and complete success with this project. Take care.

Nice to hear it..... I believe Bill had numerous opportunities to sell it for a LOT of $$$ and chose to keep it. I'm sure he looks at that airplane the way we look at a lot of ours as a part of the family and since he's had it over 20 years its probably not going anywhere until he makes the final westward flight. Hope to see it flying soon and see Bill looking happy at future shows.

Best wishes on it

Mark H
