F111C to RAAF Museum

On May 27th the Royal Australian Air Force Museum at RAAF Base Williams, Point Cook will receive an F111C. This aircraft, serial A8-125 was the first F111 taken on charge by the RAAF. It landed in Australia on June 1 1973. It made the last ever landing of an F 111 on December 3 2010. The aircraft will be delivered by road from RAAF Base Amberley in Queensland and will join the F111G already on display at Point Cook.
