FW with prop

got the prop back from MT this week, it is built and ready to install. We have the plane just about complete. hopefully engine run next week and first flight

Hasn't everyone else thrown away the fan because it blocks the airflow without being geared up above prop speed?

Dan-did you get my email with the 190 pilot's notes?-also there was a major problem with the cowling / fan blades on the FW190 here yesterday. I have emailed Dave Goss with details.

Yes, I got the email along with the pilots notes, thank you. We have not used the supply cowling brackets, but built our own brackets out of steel. We also replaced the nuts on the fan blades and we roll pinned the blades to the hub. then blanced all of it. I hope you are able to get the plane back in the air quickly
