http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GpVtYvS6sScWas an actual Flying Fortress used for filming of some of the interior as well as some of the close up exterior shots? If so which B-17 was used?
Thanks
Shay

Where was this filmed? That would help sort out possible airframes, then which ones have correct Bendix uppers installed. 99% of the exteriors look to be CGI on my 'puter.

All the exterior shots are definitely CGI (and by the time bare-metal B-17Gs came along, the Bf-109Es were long gone from combat.) The interiors are most likely a studio mockup, but it's hard to tell from a Youtube clip.

My guess is that the cockpit shots are a filmed in a slightly oversized mock-up. The windows in some of the shots just seem too big to me.
Fairly good aircraft CG. I'm almost interested in watching the whole show/movie?
Peace,
David
