According to the Wings Over the Rockies Air Museum's Facebook page they are painting the floors in the Hangar so all their airplanes are parked outside.
Nice oppertunity to get some photos.

Been living here in Colorado for 9 years and just went for a visit for the first time last week. Interesting collection. Some stuff needs a lot of work. But they are making nice progress on the museum. The Buff out front was being painted. It's gonna look great.

Might be able to swing that one....anyone know what days the floors are being painted? Can't get off work to do it during the week (in training)...but the weekend would be fine...

Someone posted an air to ground shot on the museum's facebook page and it looks like only the jets are outside...

A friend of mine lives in the area and took these for me for the model I'm working on. Some of them aren't that great but most are decent. They let him hop over the barrier and get a few shots of the inside too.

I know some people... well...lots of people who work there...
I just didn't know if the aircraft were back inside yet.
We did have a little snow the other day... melts in about an hour after sunrise...but still.

Location looks cool. (pic from one of my facebook friends who works there and flew over.)

Went to the museum Sunday afternoon. Still a few aircraft outside.
The new floors look great.

#94 was not outside, or inside the museum. It was in another hanger. Sorry.

Greg, thanks for the B-18A photos! Tell us about that model you're working on - What scale is it? Is it a vacuform? I've got one of those buried in my stash back in IL that I never got very far on, as well as a really crude one I made from Airfix DC-3 parts and a solid wood fuselage for my stillborn Pearl Harbor movie... let's see yours, maybe in the Modeler's Corner subforum?

Nice collection! I take it this was/is the old Lowry AFB, and the ramp/runway was where those new houses are on the bottom of the pic?
