 Post subject: B-29 crash site?

I picked up this photo this week and have absolutely no information with it. I'm sort of assuming it's a B-29 but could obviously be a 29, B-50, etc. There's no date on the picture, too much of the stabilizer is gone so no serial number.

A couple of my amateur observations - it looks like it had deicer boots and they've been removed, and the damage on the bottom of the fuselage looks to be in the area of the lower aft turret, so I wonder if that damage may have been done by the turret on impact. There don't seem to be any skid marks behind the plane leading up to it's resting point. Maybe the picture was taken at a much later date than the crash. I was hoping this might look familiar to our B-29 experts.
