This is the place where the majority of the warbird (aircraft that have survived military service) discussions will take place. Specialized forums may be added in the new future

Need some help....
I am going to Dayton for the Mutual concerns of Air and Space Museums conference in April and by the time I hit all the seminars/information sessions/required events I am not going to have much time to see the actual museum (darn it)
Recommendations would be appreciated on the exhibits/aircraft that are "must sees"

Hey Tom,
What is your favorite era for warbirds?

Your Canadian friends !!! I think the first round is on you !!!
But seriously, I think if you look at schedule, ther is a lot of time spent at the museum to look around and attendees do get access to areas which are away from the main museum buildings. The museum is roughly divided in to eras, which are Early aviation to the begining of WW2, WW2, Korea and Vietnam and Cold War to present day.I am sure your interests will take you to the right place .
See you next month.

My interests are very broad, what I like to see are exhibits that are noteworthy for the presentation, ideas and methods contained...things that make me go...Yeah that's inspiring!
Not necessarily about the airplane but the way it inspired the uninitiated.

This is my 4th? Mutual Concerns...when we come down we hit every seminar and function and I've found that unless I can come a day earlier and leave a day late I don't have time to see the host facility...this year our budget (and my personal one) doesn't allow extending at all...so I'm gonna be in a panic to see what I can.
BTW...doesn't the host buy the first round?
