Dang, I'm so jealous!

I've been wanting to buy that DVD since it came out. How in the world did you get it? They will only sell that to Canadian residences/addresses. Since you're American, I'm assuming you either bought it while in Canada, or had a Canadian friend send it to you. If you can tell me a good way to "smuggle" that out of Canada, I would appreciate it!

warbird1,

My girlfreind bought it for me for my B-day. She said that she has a freind in Canada that sent it down for me. She talked to the producer and they are trying to find a way to sale it in the states.

I can purchase through their website for $39.95 plus $5.00 shipping. I would be happy to purchase for any WIX members and mail them across the border. The additional postage would be about $8.00.

PM me if interested.

Check out the http://www.buffaloairwear.com website. And their hot sauce is really good, too.

Not much at this link the way of a formal description so here I go... It is a reality TV show set in Northern Canada featuring the day-to-day operations of Buffalo Airways. You may be aware that Buffalo operates DC-3s, DC-4s, L-188s and in Season 1 a single C-46. Since Season 1 they have acquired another C-46, so Season 2 should be interesting. It is reality TV, or close to it, so don't expect a deep story or anything glamorous. It does highlight the challenges of operating WWII transports as workhorses in an often difficult environment which I think would be a big seller for the crowd here on WIX. I give it two thumbs up.

Somebody had them streaming online for us U.S. watchers but it's since been taken down :(

Great show! Season 2 should be coming up.

While not quite the same, Flying Wild Alaska on the Discovery Channel (Friday nights) is kind of a bush pilot version of Ice Pilots.

All you need to do is change your PC's proxy to make it mimic a Canadian PC. Google is your friend. :)

Flying Wild Alaska is good but I prefer the big radials of Buffalo.

I found a way to be able to watch in the US. You buy a program called Hid My IP address.
It cost around 30 dollars, I know it's expensive but it beats not being able to watch the show.
Just wanted to pass this along.
http://www.hide-my-ip.com/hidemyip.shtml

Just found out that you need their premium service to be able to chose an IP address. I wish they would have put that some where before I bought their program. What a waste of money! :(

Noticed on one of the episodes when they panned around one of the airports there in the backround was the fuselage of a C-97 sitting on the ground, anybody else see it?

thanks for the info! Seems like a great show to watch. Anybody read angel flight 44 where they took a c-47 and flew in supplies to New Orleans after Katrina? Great book and how and old war horse can STILL do the job! When they built something back then....they meant business.
