Does anyone know what became of the P-51 that got stood on it's beak on landing in the Youtube video, while some crazy/drunk woman pronounced it as "No big deal..."? Unfortunately the video seems to have gotten yanked.

I remember the vid and I spent a long time trying to find it again, was pretty sick to watch.

The aircraft is under new ownership and under restoration at Cal Pacific Airmotive, according to the MustangsMustangs site:

I didn't realize that that was Bob Love's old airplane.

To quote the goofy broad "is it going to be smooth or is it going to be rough?!" Maybe she had to tie a load on every time this guy flew, not knowing what would happen next. It looked pretty good up to the 3-point configuration, but it looked like he yanked the stick back without letting the airspeed bleed down.

You guys are way to hard on the gal. Lighten up a little. I thought it was funny. What do you expect from youtube anyway, Sir Lawrence Olivier?

Maybe "crazy/drunk" was too harsh. After watching it again, how's "whacked"? Reminds me of a potential mother in law bullet that I dodged years ago.

No matter how many times I see this, the "No big deal" comment always takes me aback.

Mother-in-law is an anagram for Woman Hitler. Try it. It's true. Mine is.

As I have heard, this airframe is in completion by a new owner. :)

Photos posted here of the aircraft's current status, as provided by "EvanFlys":

A very fine rebuild, looking nothing like its former self. It doesn't look like it will be too long before we see this aircraft back in the air either.
