uss ranger CV-4

Hi guys. I was wondering if somebody could supply me with information of USS Ranger CV-4. My grandfather was on her for 3 years but have really no info that was saved. I would like to know what squadrons and aircraft she carried or transfered to along the war years. Iv'e seen photo's of p-40's, wildcats and tbms or tbfs but no info. I was trying to find out if she even carried f4u's at one point. If anyone has some input i'd love to here some history. Thanks!

This book has everything your heart could possibly desire on the Ranger... it's extraordinarily well researched and written (typical of Cressman's work), and I think you'll really enjoy it.
