The hull, minus tail, of PBY-5A Catalina N10609, c/n 1758, ex-BuAer48396 is now at Pima along with the mortal remains of N322FA and the ex-Geneseo barn RCAF Canso A hull. N10609 was derelect at Miami in 1970 but came to Pima from an old technical school in Oklahoma. Can anyone fill in the history from when it left Miami and also provide the name/location of the tech school please?

Thanks for the picture J-C. I see they have taken the old tractor tyres off the hubs now! I never did get an answer to the tech school question. N322FA can be seen in the background. Of course, since I posted that question, the three hulks have been joined by a 4th, that of the former CAF PBY-5A N68756.

I'd love to own a Catalina hull and convert it to a house or something :)
