... spotted in the trailer for "Winter in Wartime," a new Dutch film about a boy trying to hide a downed Allied airman from the Nazis in WWII.

Awhile back I saw a Dutch film about the resistance ...The Black Book (?, IIRC) and they can do great films.

I was chatting with a Dutchman once, who said the Amiricans bombed his hometown when he was ten. He said over a dozen townfolk were kiiled but no one complained, as the local Gestapo headquarters was also destroyed and they considered it a small price to pay. Now that's some intestinal fortitude!
