Any thoughts on where is ended up? I guess if he ended up in a canyon he'd be pretty hard to find. It blows my mind there is still missing aircraft in the US (Lower North America).

There are at least 79 Army Air Forces aircraft missing in the continental United States or its adjacent waters from the WWII years.
