CASC Commercial

Tue Nov 30, 2010 1:48 pm

I just posted it on Facebook but I figured I'd put it here too. My good friend and I just finished this 30 sec ad for the CASC. We hope to get some free spots somewhere on local TV but thats probably a stretch. Either way were proud of it and hope it will draw people in to help the CASC out. These days we need all the help we can get. Hope you guys enjoy it!

Nicely done! very professional and to the point, I don't see why you should have any trouble getting a local station to put that on air as a PSA/buffer since you aren't asking for money just volunteering-

Thanks, well we are asking for donations or volunteering so...I don't know how that will play into it.

As long as you are a 'NOT FOR PROFIT' I DON'T SEE AN ISSUE. Why don't you invite say the local stations weatherman to do remote forecasts from the CASC ? The MoF used that with one of the local weathermen here in the Seattle market years ago to generate interest in the museum using the 'and we'd like to thank....'. @ the end of the segment.
I bet you'll find that the weather folks @ the local stations are more into aviation than anyone else @ WTF-TV is. Does the local station have a 30 minute magazine general interest program? The sort of local show that takes the audience to three or four places of interest around the area every night, if so talk to the producers as they usually are on the prowl for new interesting locales to feed ideas to the audiences.

Inspector,
Great Idea except the CASC is on Military Property and we can't have commercial visitors to the site for events and the like. :(

Chris and Nick did a stellar job with this and we look forward to seeing more new media content from them in the future.

We Know, We Know... On the flip side they have been very gracious to allow us to use the area create what we do have and to allow us to have several restorations underway.

Thanks Drew,

Your words mean alot. Yeah Nick and I both hope this is only the first of many more videos to come. Commercials, short interviews, information vids, viral videos, and eventually an in-depth documentary. Stay tuned to see more.
