WOW! A two cylinder P&W, opposed, piston engine on each side. Very rare indeed!
:)
I like it!

Just heard today that Beech will roll out a T-6 Texan 2 on Dec. 7 in a WW II yellow scheme at the factory, asked us to find a Yellow T-6 for a photo shoot. The Navy is painting 27 A/C in old schemes for their 100th.

A JR2B?

For those of you who don't know the old pre-1962 Navy designation system (The JRB was the C-45/Twin Beech)...
J=Utility
R=Transport
2nd aircraft from
B=Beechcraft

There will be a test on this later.

Very, very cool paintjob.

I wish the USAF would do more than pay lip service to 'heritage', and do this type of thing.

I can see it now, though...the Generals looking at how much it would cost to do, cost to maintain, etc -- basically the same reason they scorn noseart.

Every once in a while I'm jealous of what other services do, and this is definitely one of those times. Bravo Zulu!

I personally can't wait to see what the F-18's are going to look like after seeing all that they have done so far.

Hey Randy...bring a two-seat Eagle into town sometime and I would be happy to paint some flames on her...at the super low cost of a little trip around the patch in said Eagle afterwards :roll:
