Sorry to post a link but I thought this was very neat.

http://www.arcforums.com/forums/air/ind ... 333&st=140

It's a modelling forum thread about the first of the 100th Anniversary schemes to emerge from the paint shops. The images turn up around page 8 and up of the thread. Check out the T-45's. The OD and gloss sea blue SH60's are neat also. What about the graphics of the VX-30 S-3 schemes?

2011 is going to be an exciting year and I'm thinking making trips to both Thunder and Oceana are going to be a must!

I love the pre-war scheme on the T-45.

And the gloss blue SH-60 looks great.

Let me ask a question. Come on, why not keep them in that scheme?
Sh-60s aren't at war, and with the advent of radar, does the flat, dirty gray really conceal the aircraft?

I'm just tired of current flat paint schemes, after 15-20 minutes they look terrible, worn and sotty from the jet fuel used nowdays. It makes most American military aircraft look like refugees from a third-world air force.

Here is a link to the Centennial's Facebook
page. It is another good way to keep up
with retro the paint schemes.

LOVE the dark blue on the SH-60. The T-45s look good too, it reminds me of some of the T-6 warbird schemes.
