The December 2010 Desktop Calendars and Wallpapers are now available from the Warbird Depot website (http://www.warbirddepot.com/desktop_calendars.asp), this month includes:

1. James Slade’s Old Stick and Rudder Company Goodyear FG-1D Corsair, being flown by Keith Skilling, in formation with a Curtiss P-40E Kittyhawk, flown by Stuart Goldspink, during the Classic Fighters 2009 airshow at Omaka, New Zealand.

2. Bill and Scott "Scooter" Yoak’s beautiful N.A. P-51D Mustang “Quick Silver”, being flown by Scott, during a photo shoot at EAA AirVenture 2008, at Oshkosh, WI. Bill Yoak, a metal master craftsman, is the reason this stunning Mustang looks flawless. Quick Silver was built-up from over 250 Mustang parts, and is a tribute to all veterans past and present.

3. Jason Somes is seen flying the Commemorative Air Force – Southern California Wing’s Mitsubishi A6M3 “Zero” enroute from Falcon Field back to its home base in Camarillo, CA.

4. The Saturday Silver Unlimited heat racers are seen formatting on the Planes of Fame Air Museum’s Lockheed T-33 pace plane flown by Steve Hinton at the 2010 National Championship Air Races in Reno, NV. In the pole position is Brant Seghetti flying P-51D “Sparky”, with Dave Morss in P-51A “Polar Bear”, Robbie Patterson in TF-51D “Lady Jo”, Dennis Sanders in P-51D “Geraldine”, Rob Gordon in P-51D “Speedball Alice”, Dan Martin in P-51D “Grim Reaper”, John-Curtiss Paul in P-40N “Parrothead” and Jimmy Leeward joining the formation in his highly modified P-51D “The Galloping Ghost”.

5. Bruce Paylor and Tom Dietrich are seen in the “Tiger Boys” Fleet 16B Finch (CF-GER) over Southern Ontario.

6. David and Anita Huffman flying the Commemorative Air Force's Douglas A-26B Invader “Lady Liberty” (S/N 41-39230) over Midland, TX during the 2007 CAF AirSho. Based in Oklahoma City, OK, it is possibly the oldest A-26 Invader flying and wears the paint scheme of the 13th Air Force.

7. John Maloney rounding pylon 4 in Will Whiteside's Pratt & Whitney R-2000 powered Yakovlev Yak-3 "Steadfast" during Thursday's Silver Unlimited heat race at the 2010 National Championship Air Races in Reno, NV.

8. It is always flying weather in California and Jimmy Ferriera is flying Terry and Allyson Lauck's A-1 Husky over Solano near Vacaville Airport, also better known as the Nut Tree Airport.

9. Skyraider Bob Grondzik gets airborne in his Douglas A-1H Skyraider (BuNo.139606) at the 2010 Cactus Fly In at Casa Grande, AZ.

10. Historical Flight Foundation’s Douglas DC-7B (c/n 45345, line 928, N836D), piloted by Frank Moss, on short final for Runway 23R at Willow Run Airport in Ypsilanti, MI, on Sunday August 08, 2010. Carlos Gomez, who was instrumental in restoring the aircraft back to flight status, was the Flight Engineer.

11. Will Ward departs Oshkosh’s runway 18 in his 1975 Mikoyen-Gurevich MIG-21MF "Fishbed" (C/N 96004307) during AirVenture 2010 in Oshkosh, WI.

12. Vickers 951 Vanguard G-APEA visits the Trans Canada Airlines hangar in Malton, Ontario during flight testing and evaluation exercises in June, 1959. It was later delivered to British European Airways Corporation (BEA) and withdrawn from their use in 1972 and broken up at London Heathrow.

All Desktop Calendars and Wallpapers are now available in 1920x1200, 1920x1080, 1600x1200 and 1280x1024. These are the main screen resolutions. We have provided a Screen Resolution Compatibility list on the webpage that shows what other formats apply to each of these resolutions so you can apply the correct resolution for your computer screen. A link to the webpage that outlines the instructions for loading any of the desktop calendar or wallpaper selections is located at the bottom of the page.
