Anyone know of an 'Aleutian Tiger' out there?

Was there one ever done?

I always thought those were the nicest looking 'teeth/mouth/animal' bird!

There is one. I think it won Grand Champion at Oshkosh a few years back. Can't remember who owns it.

Dick Thurman also had a -K model painted as an Aleutian Tiger for awhile. I think that one was repainted in a pseudo-AVG scheme when it was sold. Not sure who owns it now, but last I heard it was with Tom Blair.

There is or was also the P40M of the Hangar 11 Collection at North Weald, Essex, UK. She was painted up in the Tigers scheme while owned by The Fighter Collection, Duxford, and the Hangar 11 guys kept her in this scheme until she flew off to the Czech Republic to take part in shooting the Red Tails movie. She still flies in the 'temporary' Red Tails paint, with the Tigers paint underneath, although there is talk of the aircraft having a complete re-spray when the time comes, so the Tigers scheme may not see light of day again.
