Warbird Information Exchange

The Great Georgia Airshow will be held this weekend in Peachtree City with both warbird and modern aircraft in attendance.

For ATL-based WIX'ers try to attend Friday's press day starting at 10:00am at the terminal building. In honor of the 70th anniversary of the Battle Of Britain we will be having a program that features Vic Hewes, a founding member of the Dixie Wing that flew Spitfires and Mosquitos in WW2. Also in attendance with Vic will be Mike Spalding of the Fighter Factory with their impeccable Spitfire. We will be having a few BOB speakers as well as an authentic RAF flag flying on the flag pole.

In the afternoon the airport will be closed for practice...a nice way to see all of the flying and take pics without all the crowds...
