Do you know where I could have my Harvard's seatbelts re-webbed? I want to keep the RAF style turning lock and not use NATO style belts like the Hooker's.

Any good parachute shop should be able to re-web your existing belts. I used to have one do it for me, but I've lost touch over the ensuing 20+ years.

Have you actually spoken with Hooker ?
We use them to reproduce belts for our T/Moths and they are very flexible when it come to colour etc.
Usually we just send an old original set complete with the vintage harware and they do a great job of copying them.

You might also try Lance Aircraft Supply. They may have some NOS.

I have used and highly recommend Hooker Harness. Jack and Co. know what they are doing.

I know for my project that we will taking the old seat belts apart and getting new webbing. Then bring it to a tailor to have them sew in the new webbing in using the webbing sewing pattern. This will be a saving as I will be having them done myself.

A word of caution (or three). Having someone who is not approved to do so, re-web the seat belts can present some issues:
1. The Web material, thread and stitching parameters all need to be correct for the application. it is a special thread, and a specific pattern....
2. If you plan on installing them into a Standard Category aircraft, the belts need a TSO certification or you are in non comformance, and your airworthiness cert. (and insurance) is invalid. CAA (EH!) regs. may be different.
3. The problem with New Old Stock belts is just that. They are Old. Use caution.

There are several professional shops that do this. I have found Hooker Harness is not only honest, but fair in his pricing.
