I was sorry to read of the passing of Hal Weekley, longtime EAA member and famous WWII combat B-17 pilot, nice guy, and a friend

Oh boy, I nearly missed seeing this post.

Bill, I'm sorry to hear about your friends passing. It saddens me to watch that generation shrinking and shrinking; faster and faster with every passing month.

I wish I could reverse it, but all I can do is remember them all with great fondness.
