Portuguese F-47 Thunderbolt

Mon Sep 27, 2010 10:56 pm

I was coming to see if anyone knows about or could find any of the F-47's that the Portuguese Air Force flew, so far the only information I have found is that they did in fact have two squadrons in the Portuguese-Guinea, Angola, and Mozambique wars.
- Esquadra 10, Republic F-47 Thunderbolt
- Esquadra 11, Republic F-47 Thunderbolt

here is the link if it helps.

Wondering if anybody has have any info or photos on that.

Also, what happened to Warbird Registry. Was always interesting to see B-17 Fuddy Duddy as a water tanker.

Thanks Rob
