O.K I get it! I bet if I ask wixers to come up with any pic.s of Big Foot ( yes, THE hairy creature), I would get some, Maybe next to, or even sitting in a VERY RARE P-51D! Yes, I went there  . But I've tried in the past to get someone out west to post ANY recent photos of F8f Bearcat GulfHawk 4th at Fighter Rebuilders but no such luck! It would be cool to find out who owns her, Rod lewis? The Fighter Collection ? The Chino Gang? I,ve even saw (Cringe  ) Casey Anthony's name here instead pic.s of GH4. I hope the ONLY time we EVER have her name here again, is if her and her future offspring  ( insert past pic. of confused Shep. Dog Here  ) start a company that makes Replica P-40Fs!!( again Shep pic.) well have at it/me, I gotta go, the Whaambulance is coming :axe: Keep Looking up, Anthony, San Antonio, Tx :drink3:

Hello fellow San Antonian... not 100% sure, but I don't think that I've heard that Rod owns that bird.

I thought Big Foot was a P 47 driver with the Oregon ANG just after the war.

First pic is from Oct. 2010. Second is from April 2011. Click pics for larger. I'll check on it again in a month or two, but it will look the same. Long term project. On my April visit I was told it is Planes of Fame property and will become the house Bearcat at Chino.

Thanks Ryan,Jack,& August (and anyone else I missed) with all the recent serious stuff going down in the warbird front, :( I figured I'd get 2 birds with one stone ( REALLY! I Just thought of the time I was in 5th grade and my friend Jay threw a rock at 2 robins to chase them away from the danger of the Cath. school yard and the rock hit the first one in the head, killing it and went on to hit the other in the neck killing it a little later, of course with all the screaming and crying from EVERYONE, we just knew one of us was going straight to He11 right there!) by throwing myself across the wix runway and getting those Pic.s of the ape and GH4th. I'm still waiting on the shep. pic. Thanks again Anthony :supz:

I certainly hope I am wrong, but I fear that we here on WIX may have lost the privilege of viewing photos from Jack Cook's fantastic collection.
If so, it is surely cause for :(

Jack, if you are lurking, please do as the crew chief spotting for me as I backed an F-6 fuel rig into a place between two F-84Fs said, " mon back smore "

Seeing the Gulfhawk all apart and going back together again is like deja vu, all over again!
