I just heard from the a/p manager that a Navy Blue Angels F/A-18 Hornet just stopped at Creve Coeur Airport today. I'm pretty sure this is the first time a F/A-18 Hornet has ever shown up at Creve Coeur. I'll try to get some photos before it leaves and post them today. :D

Ok, so it came on a truck but hey, it did get off the ground. Ok, it was hoisted by a crane but it was in the air for a few minutes. It was taken downtown to the St. Louis Science Center for a ceremony and then back to Innoventors, Inc. facility at Creve Coeur A/P. When the display area is ready at the Science Center, it will make it's way downtown one more time. I sure hope its not going to become an "airplane on a stick" but in any event, at least there will be a St. Louis built F/A-18 Hornet on display here in town! :D :D :D
