There is an airshow at BJC, old Jeffco, now putting on airs as regional or Metro airport, but the same place. It's this Sat and Sun, the CAF LB or B-24 or whatever you prefer is already there, a Provost is based there, etc.

I wondered if any WIX folks are going to be attending and might want to meet up at lunch time? It is likely to be hotter than a Provost posterior, unless there is some cloud cover, especially so because they repaved the ramp and it is dark blacktop and really reflects the heat compared to when it was faded to grey. If the terminal is open, we will likely go inside for the shade. I don't expect to stay all day, may try to get away before the jet noise starts.

I will be in Boulder for Fri and Sat night, probably only go to Metro on Sat, may go glider flying at Boulder one afternoon, and probably head back home Sun.

Bill, I'm headed down friday PM for arrivals and to take a look around and Denise and I will be there saturday for the show...I mknow Paul Gordon will be there (Bluedharma on WIX) will also be around, as will Gordon Page, apparently he flew the B-25 in....kinda hoping Bill Klaers comes up from the Springs with the B-25 and Jug, but you never know...

Hoping it'll be a good show!

Mark

Steve Swift may be flying the Pacific Prowler this weekend...he's a Wixer and all around nice guy.

I'm sure there is some closet Wixer on the 927 crew.

Unfortunately with today being the first day of class, and having just finished for the day, as close as I am there was no way I could justify my time. :( :( If you do go to the show stop by and see Ol' 927 and drop a few nickels (but paper would be BETTER) in the donation bomb. :drinkers:
