The Wings of Eagles R4D landed at my local airport this morning for fuel. Got to watch her take off. Haven't seen her fly since 1997! I guess she will be heading to Illinois for someone to look at her possibly buy. First time a C-47/R4D landed at the little airport at N27.

Just thought some here would like to know.

Thanks,
Nathan

I didn't know it got back flying. I got to go inside her. It's a good day when you get to stand at the wingtip of a C-47/R4D when it starts up. The backfire scared the crap out of me though!
