What Aicraft would you have ? (no limit)---Just no duplicates, except the fighters which you have to name.....

My 1st vote.....A Hawker Sea Fury, with it's ORIGINAL ENGINE AND PROP (5 blade) A Bristol Centarurus and Five Balde Prop.......preferbably a nice sea green OR, a beatifully restored Thunderbolt, with D-Day Stripes it would have to be ""D" model with a bubble canopy and haveall the bells and whistles working.

Any elsi care to join in?

An olive drab razorback P-47D loaded with ground-attack ordnance. Preferably in 9th AF markings, but I'm not too picky.

Are we talking one airplane only? Or if we organized our own airshow, what would be the "want list" for the show?

If it is the prior... I'd have to say de Havilland DH98 Mosquito

If the latter....

1.) de Havilland Mosquito
2.) Supermarine Spitfire MkV
3.) Messerschmitt ME-109
4.) Fairey Firefly
5.) PBY-5A Canso
6.) Focker-wulf FW-190
7.) Avro Lancaster Mk X
8.) Boeing B-17
9.) Hawker Typhoon
10.) Hawker Hurricane
11.) Curtiss P-40
12.) Bristol Beaufighter
13.) CAC Boomerang
14.) P-51 Mustang
15.) Hawker Sea Fury (un-molested)
16.) A-20 Havoc
17.) Curtiss P-39
18.) CAC Wirraway
19.) Handley Page Halifax
20.) P-38 Lightning

My apologies if I wasn't meant to create such a large list. I will edit if required.

Peace,

David M

B-36, yup, yup, yup.

If I could be God for a day, I'd make it possible to load up qualifying fighters or medium bombers with live guns and real ammo and do strafing demos. And bomb drops, although with dummy bombs.

Hey Gary,

yeah, I kind of decided to stop my list at 20 or else it would have been much too long.

Though I certainly do appreciate the B-25's B-26's, and A-26's, the main reason for them being left off of the list is due to a brain fart. I'll trade out the P-51, and replace it with a B-26. I'm sure JDK will agree with that switch. As for the other two, I'd have a hard time removing anything else from that list. Perhaps my list will need to be expanded to 22.

Peace,

David
