I just thought I'd let everyone know that Richard Allnutt''s first Magazine Cover shot is now on the newsstands in the U.S.!
Aircraft Magazine, the August 2010 issue, has Richard's article about Corsairs Over Connecticut.
Congratulations Richard! (I know he wouldn't mention it so I did! )
:f4u:

Good stuff! (You are allowed to frame a copy for the den wall, too.)

Many thanks Jerry... and JDK and Chris. It was quite exciting to finally get a cover shot on a major aviation magazine... I've done if for a bunch of mags in other disciplines, but not for aviation until now. It meant a lot to me to finally break down that door. Thanks very much to Jerry for providing me the opportunity to go get it too!

Cheers,
Richard

PS. Here's a small version from the magazine website... for those of you who haven't read this magazine. Although it may seem a little self serving since I am a regular contributor to the magazine, it really is a good read for those of you who haven't looked one over.

Congratulations Richard. I thought you would have had a couple of covers by now.

I know, he's a bit slow, but he is ours, and we like him. :hide: :axe:

James of very few covers at all...

Join the club - one of my photos, an air to air of the Meteor NF.11 was the cover picture for the prior edition of the same magazine!

Gorgeous Meteor shot there Tim... it's so good to see one of these beauties is still in the air back home.

Cheers,
Richard

Great work, Richard and Tim.

A really enjoyable magazine and a "jolly nice" editor, too.

I joined the club in January :D
