Hi there and welcome aboard WIX. To reply to something just scroll to the bottom of that particular thread (or subject) and click the reply tab. This will bring up a big blank area of a screen. Just type in there and click submit at the bottom when you are done. Welcome!

Or if you want to reply to a message already in a thread you can use the "quote" button and you'll get this kind of result which features your post as well.

Welcome Zachary! It's always nice to see young people joining here, as you guys are the future of the warbird movement!

By the way, there is another 13 year old member here, "evanflys", who has accomplished a lot in his young life and he has his own website.

Here is "evanflys" profile:

memberlist.php?mode=viewprofile&u=25814

I'm sure he would be thrilled to hear there is someone else his own age on here. You can always communicate in private as well by using the "PM" function, where your messages will go only to him and no one else. Get some help from an adult if you have problems figuring it out.

Welcome to WIX! :D

Welcome aboard! It is comforting to know that we seem to be attracting the next generation of warbirders. Stay alert, don't be afraid to ask questions, there are no dumb questions other than the one you figured was too dumb to ask! You will find plenty of folks here who will gladly share info and you'll be astounded just how quickly you will soak up information. Keep reading anything you can get your hands on about aviation and it's history from the tiniest things up to huge things, it all ads up to your overall knowledge base.
I don't know if you have been lurking for a while or not, but amongst our members are several top level restorers and a couple of very well noted authors, and then there's the rest of us who just have what I call a compost heap of information in our heads.

Enjoy the ride and may it be a long one!!

Zach baby...You're welcome here and we're glad to have you. Tell us what kind of warbirds you're most interested in. From you're age (and I've got socks older than you) I suspect you're into them airplanes that burn kerosene and got no whirley thing on the front.
There are a few of "that kind" on this forum but we try to use small words so they can understand about "real warbirds".
But...get on the forum and "let r rip". We've all asked question and given opinions. (Whether asked for or not. )

Welcome aboard man. I was 12 when I started at the Air Heritage Museum near Pittsburgh. I knew right then and there that I wanted to work in aviation. 18 years later I have never looked back. There are so many people here that have so much knowledge, on flying, restoring, maintaining, displaying, and just general information. I have learned a ton since I have been here, and the people here are amazing. Have fun.!

First off, what a great name! 8) Secondly, welcome to the Warbird Information Exchange, your one stop shop for all things warbirds related. Soak up the information you read here Zach - it will be of great benefit to you. I work in an aviation museum, and the knowledge, information, and friendships I've gleaned from WIX have been invaluable to me. Stick with us kid, and you'll go far

Zack
