The Google Gods have failed me so now I turn to the Wizards of WIX. I have just finished restoring a Kodak Drift Sight which I saved from an HU-16. I was wondering if anyone in WIX land might be able to tell me how it works and how to use it? I intend to keep it for my display shelf, but I would like to know how it works.

The data plate reads as follows:
DRIFT SIGHT
Bu Aero. U.S. Navy
FSSC 88-S-850
Contract NO No. (.) 4199
Contractor's Part NO. U-9258
Made in U.S.A. By
Eastman Kodak Co.
Rochester, N.Y.

and on the back of one of the internal mirrors is the date stamp "Nov. 10, 1944".

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks,
