This was my contribution to the warbird effort. I owned this Taylorcraft L-2M Grasshopper 43-26467. She is shown sitting in my backyard. I was able to roll it out of my basement. It was fun while it lasted. The bird was FAA registered and at one time had an airworthiness certificate. I took every part off her, evaluated it, and documented the defects. It was at this point I realized the amount of cash needed to complete her. I thought hard and sold the project to help my son get through college. Money well spent.
