When I was there two weeks ago today, they said it was being painted, possibly as we spoke. I'll be there tomorrow and will update you. Say hi to the misses!

Fighter Factory hangar closed on the weekends but here's a sneak peek.

Paint scheme went on this week and the insignia and other stencils next week. We unwrapped it this morning and finished up some nook and crannies around the gear area.

WOW! What can I say, except they did the restoration fast and it is absolutely beautiful.

That should be a trophy winner, in fact it should win a few.

Is the paint flat? It sure looks like it is, and I LOVE it! It has a really authentic feel, at least in the couple of photos posted... Can't wait to see it in person!

Craig,
Congrats to you and all your folks. I know it is pushing, any date for the first flight? Will have vacation time soon and I can't think of a better reason to play hookie from work! Keep Al's toes on the line.
