Shuttleworth Collection Evening Display 15th May 2010
Mon May 17, 2010 8:26 am
My images from the first Shuttleworth evening display of the season. This time the weather was kind, with clear skies and no wind producing the classic Shuttleworth experience
Getting their early allowed me time to wander around the Swiss Gardens and find this show off, I think he liked me!
Even Shuttleworth gets Traffic Jams sometimes
It was good to see the sun again
A Target?
Someones happy!
Caption competition
Before the show The Vehicle Section can be found parked at the end of the hangars, its good to see the cars and bikes up close before the parade starts
My money is on the duck!
The view from the parade
The BBMF just before the full flying display started
The display stared with Golden Apple's Sabre sans tanks. If it smokes its friendly
Glad and Hind. Nice to see the Hind back where she belongs
An excellent Jungmann display
Then the World War 1 aircraft too to the skies
dagga dagga dagga!
somewhere over the Western Front!
A superb Sopwith Triplane display
Release the Edwardians! When the sun sets Shuttleworth comes alive
The Lysander in is natural environment
The Deperdussin hopped, If I can do that when I am that old I will be very happy
The Bleriot just about made it up, bless!
Thanks to Simon for the use of his car headlights (and brilliant idea)
Then, all that was left was to push everything away again
Next show is the D-Day show on June the 6th. See you there !
