Which flying warbirds are you looking forward to, seeing in person, in 2010? Sorry if there is another topic like this one.

Personally, I'm looking forward to seeing the CF ME-262, Russell BF-109, The Horsemen and several B-17's I've only seen in periodicals. Obviously I'm heading to TOM.

I'd love to see FiFi...never seen her before. Also, HJGB if she makes a return to OSH

There are several warbirds I hope to see this year, but there are two that I have not seen yet that I am hoping very much to see this year in the air:

Hawk One Sabre

Dean Cutshall F-100F Super Sabre

Flying warbirds at air shows are what I want to see - there are plenty of great looking warbirds in museums that I can go to when I want to see static displays.

The 262, Liberty Belle, and whatever Mr. Fagen ends up bringing to Reading.

If I visit Seattle at some point, whatever FHC is flying that day.

CAF's P-39 and Duffy's Spitfire if they venture within range.

Hopefully going to Duxford in September and seeing not one but TWO Buchons - the ex-Tom Blair aircraft (now in its Battle of Britain film colours) and the ex-CAF N109ME.

LOVELY! :D

Hoping that race 74 makes it in the air this year, and gets to OSH, or Reno.

I'm really looking forward to seeing the Collings Foundation Me 262 at Thunder! I'm also looking forward to seeing "Texas Raiders" for the first time in ten years. Hopefully I'll get to see Vlado fly somewhere this year too. I really enjoy his aerobatic routine.

Even though I see them a couple times a year, I'm also looking forward to the Folk/Schiffer's Corsair flying with Jim Read's P-51 again. Getting to see those guys fly multiple times a year is the highlight of my airshow season.

Well, I don't have any definite plans yet... but I am hoping to be able to go see the DC-3's leaving sterling. I'm also hoping to be able to finally go see a few jet warbirds in the air this year. The Sukhois are just down the road from me so I hope to catch them in the air this summer. I'm not really sure if my local airshow will have any warbirds this year or not with it being during the last weekend of Oshkosh. I know I will be seeing a Mig-21 yet again this summer, always cool to have him come roaring over the house in the break. I would really like to be able to get to Oshkosh or Thunder over Michigan this year, but I am still very unsure if I'll be able to get there due to very tight finances.

Also to all the warbird owners in the Northern Illinois area, KDKB is a really nice little airport.  I suppose I am biased by the fact that it is just a couple miles from my house and I am pretty close to the approach end of one of the runways.

I'm looking forward to seeing Chuckie back in the air. She's been grounded for about 25 months now.
