Did anyone read the April issue of Flight Journal? The reason I ask is because in that issue there is an article titled "The Man Who Gave Me My Father: A Baby Boomer Gets to Know His Father Through the Eyes of the Waist Gunner who Flew With Him" I thought this was one of the finest artcles I have ever read in an aviation magazine. Anyone else read it and come away feeling the same?

I read it and thought it was a wonderful article. I have a cousin whose father was killed in France a few months after D Day and other relatives now gone whom I never had the opportunity to talk to about their service. It was nice to see someone who could make that connection with someone who knew thier loved one.

I read it, great article. Made me tear up a little at the end.

I read it, got all emotional over the discovery and then wondered, how many other people never will get that link or connection about their dad who was lost in combat but no one is around to tell the final chapter for closure-
