Anybody have any scale drawings for the "C" model Black Widow handy? I could use some for a drawing I'm working on. I'm especially interested in underside detail.I went and bought an otherwise great book on the Widow that inexplicably omitted 3-views. I'd prefer not to postpone this drawing another week while I order yet another book.

Anybody got anything?

Been almost 75 hits and 9 downloads of the many plans and pics of the P-61 since I posted them...
The RapidShare account isn't 'free' either. I pay for it monthly. But I don't mind sharing whatever I have if it helps anyone- just a simple 'thank you' once in a while would be appreciated.

Thanks, Merlin, for the share. Sorry I didn't post sooner. I got busy with Turkey Day feasting. I really do appreciate it.

As soon as I have a drawing to show for it, I'll be sure and share it with everyone. I'm knocking the cobwebs off my airbrush by making an ink painting of one of the P-61's involved in the Thunderstorm Project. Found some really cool research info already. More later....

Thanks again, fellow WIXers!

Any time! I'll share whatever I've got- if it's of use to anyone interested in any of these beautiful pieces of WWII fine machinery. I'd love to see the painting when it's done, too... and you're also welcome, TriangleP!

That will be a nice subject. We've been doing a bit of research on the Thunderstorm Project since we're pretty certain that Chuckie was used during the 1947 Ohio season.

I just remembered that I had this photo of a F-15 Reporter from the Clinton/All Weather Unit file:

Greetings merlin..

Thanks so much! Thats nice stuff.. The P61's my favorite. Although I'm not up on any Russian, the pictures and stuff there were
things I haven't seen before.. and the drawings and cockpit photos make me smile.. can't wait to see MAAM's up in the air!
Appreciate your efforts there.

I was looking for photos of Chuckie when she was assigned to the All Weather Unit when I found that picture. It's a little hard to make out, but the word on the nosegear door is "Thunderstorm", dating this photo to the proper timeframe.
