Is any of our distinguished forumnites based at or near this field? I am trying to find any person who were there during the early 1960s. I'm on the lookout for photos of a P-51D being worked on at the field around 61-62. The owner's name was Jim Streit and was an ex AF guy. Word is he had been an instructor at Edwards. At that time there was also a red or orange 51 at the field, owned by a parachute company (N5410V). However the one I'm looking for was repainted black and kitted out with a jump seat. Think the company who did the work was called Carson Air!
