Any time you put the words truth and Boyington in the same sentence, Jack begins to sweat.

I don't get it. He mentioned mask and I just got the image of those maskes from that bank robber movie in my head.

Thanks Nathan, Interesting video!

Geritol, the viagra of 50 years ago

People appear to have been much more polite back then.

Boyington starting his acting career. Too bad he didn't have a successful career. It looks like he had plenty of opportunity.

It's good to see him get a bit of public recognition.

Whatever you think of the guy (he had problems...who doesn't?) as a Medel of Honor winner, ace, and Japanese POW survivor, he deserved any respect given him.

AMEN!

I own and fly a warbird today because of Boyington. He was one of my childhood heroes. I know he is not perfect, but if it gets one more kid interested in aviation.....

It's funny that Boyington acted like the sterotype of a fighter pilot ( aggressive, hard fighting and able to spin a yarn), yet you all give him grief.

Let's show some respect folks.
