The site where the story originated was hosting some video of the plane and and it was getting so much attention it was slowing their forum down so they deleted the thread. There was some new links posted for the video clips though. I'll try posting a photo another way. Here's are some specs. B-52 spanning 23' and weighing 300 lbs.
EIGHT Wren turbine motors @ $3k per copy.

Looked like they were holding the contest in the midst of a tropical storm. Contest be damned, I wouldn't take the chance of flying a complex $30,000 model in high winds!
