The USAF Acrojets were about the same time frame, but didn't last long. They flew F-80s and T-33s from 1949.

Wish we would finish our T-33 in that scheme. Sure is an eye catcher that's for sure! But I believe our director wants to keep our Marine T-33 in Marine livery.
I REALLY hope the scheme doesn't stay this way. But does anyone have any pics of interesting Marine paint schemes for T-33s?

The Skyblazers in 1951 flew the F-84E in displays, having transitioned from the F-80B after 1950. I'm not sure, but I haven't heard of them having a T-33 support aircraft. Each squadron of the 36th did have a T-33 hack though, and this may be one of those.
