Yeah, right...

How do these guys keep getting press releases like this out? Must be a slow news day at Discovery!

timed to gain ratings off her movie for Discovery I guess.

you hit it on the head muddy buddy!!! what a coinkadink that the latest revelation would come at the same time as the new amelia flick. i believe gillespie is the "elmer gantry" of aviation history & he's a shameless opportunist. as to the tighar members i believe their intentions are good in the name of aviation history but they have been sweet talked by romance & pie in the sky.

Tighar is interesting. They are a non-profit organization, and getting a lot of money in donations! It's a great business! With that said, I doubt she landed on Nikamoro Island. There are many accounts that she was seen by local people in the Marshall Islands, but eyewitness testimony isn't reliable.

Now if they could only work in "Jon & Kate" they'd have a ratings bonanza.

Listen up :!:

While working on Amelia , I was privy to the real story behind what became of Amelia Earhart.
As reported in the past, she came back to the States and assumed an alias as a New Jersey housewife.
She bore one son and he grew up to be the second gunman on the grassy knoll.
There you have it , the end of all these conspiracy theories

In reality, all you have to do is listen to A.E. herself, she tells you were she is . Her radio calls are clear and precise about her situation, out in the middle of an ocean with nothing but water in sight.
It's that plain and simple. Her Noonan and the Electra are in 17k ft of water. Why do so many choose to ignore her ?

:?: :?: :?: :?:

I remember watching Johnny Carson one night and hearing him say, "Yes, the pilot shortage is so bad that one of the airlines called the Earhart residence to ask if there was any word from Amelia." :D

I know, of all the names why that?:D

This is my theory on Earhart's disappearance. Earhart ran out of gas and crashed in open water and the wreckage is tens of thousands of feet deep.

But......While she was prepping for and flying her record flight Roosevelt and Wild Bill Donovan had persuaded another female pilot to scout Japanese positions in the Pacific using Earhart's flight as cover. This is the aircraft and crew that were captured by the Japanese etc. etc.

And as soon as I can get my tinfoil in the right shape I will have the cloak of invisibility I need to access the secret archives in the White House that will explain it all.............Honest.

Maybe, is she ever recovered? I'm not sure about that... :(

No, Amelia drives the Ice Cream Truck in my neighborhood and she never slows down for anyone! And always gives you back the wrong change!

Cranky old broad!

Perhaps you should have changed them, then?
