Rob Erdos is the Chief Test Pilot at the NRC in Ottawa, and in charge of "British Beasts" at Vintage Wings of Canada. Last year he flew the "Hat Trick" -- Spitfire, Hurricane and 109.
And he likes Fairchilds 24s!

Very nice, thorough pilots report. It also reminded me that model kits often have WAY TOO SMALL a pilot in them just so they fit!!! At 5'9" this pilot had his head hard against the canopy and had to do without his helmet! The 109 is SMALL and tight!
